One Green Gel - Many Applications
Tom-Pac® TP-2500 Green-One is a multi-purpose lubricating grease designed for use in various industries. It will perform well in applications exposed to high load, high temperature or wet environments making it an excellent choice for plant-wide lubrication.
Benefits:
Non-melting formula - Gel stays on intended surfaces. Normal grease can melt and drip out of the application in high temperature conditions; more grease must be added to the application to keep it lubricated. Since TP-2500 will not melt, it translates to dramatically less lubricant usage and longer lubrication intervals. This amazing characteristic also helps prevent bearing and machinery failure from insufficient lubrication.
Excellent Water Resistance - Frequently, applications are exposed to conditions where water can cause the grease to be washed off. This will leave the intended surface without protection from wear and corrosion. TP-2500 is formulated to resist water drips, sprays and high moisture conditions. It will not break down or emulsify in the presence of water and will hold fast to metal surfaces under pressure.
Oxidation Protection - As conventional grease ages, it becomes less stable and eventually loses much of its lubrication properties. The base oil blend that TP-2500 is made from, has a greater oxidation stability than the oil used to form most regular grease. The result is a lubricant that ages far slower than regular grease, allowing TP-2500 to maintain its structure and last longer, especially in high heat conditions where the aging process is accelerated.
Extreme Pressure / High Load Protection- TP-2500 combines the most efficient additives to deliver outstanding protection in applications exposed to high load and extreme pressure conditions. Anti-wear and anti-friction additives help machinery run smoother and quieter, while also reducing premature bearing and machinery failure.
Versatility - Many greases are targeted at one specific application and fall short when operating under other conditions. Possibly the most distinguishing benefit that TP-2500 delivers is its ability to operate in a wide spectrum of applications. Including applications exposed to: high temperature, wet environments, high load conditions, and slow to Moderately high bearing speeds (high speed may require thinner grade)
