Thortex hygienic coatings are designed to significantly improve the appearance and performance of the floor and wall they are applied to. Many of the Thortex floor coatings are ceramic enhanced which means that they have the capability to give up to 5 times the abrasion resistance of other resin based floor systems.

Operational conditions will also have an impact on floor selection and Health & Safety implications are therefore critical in determining the type of floor required. For example, in a wet processing environment, the level of grip the floor gives will be a vital consideration to ensure slips in wet conditions are not a cause for concern.
